Discovery Rewards are member‑only offers that pay you for exploring and adopting partner tools. When you meet the conditions of a reward—such as starting a qualifying trial or becoming a paying customer with a partner—PerkLedger credits your wallet.
It’s important to be clear: Discovery Rewards is not a generic cashback scheme. The focus is on rewarding genuine discovery and adoption of tools that fit your work, not on encouraging random churn just to chase payouts.
You’ll need a PerkLedger account and, outside the founding phase, an active Premium membership.
During the founding phase, early members can activate the wallet and start earning Discovery Rewards without paying the eventual Premium fee. Over time, Discovery Rewards will remain a membership‑gated feature, while perks stay open.
Each reward has its own conditions, which are explained on the reward detail page. Typical examples include:
- Starting a new trial with a partner tool through a PerkLedger link
- Becoming a paying customer after that trial
- Meeting any minimum spend or time‑on‑plan requirements specified by the brand
You must follow the instructions on the reward page so that the partner and PerkLedger can attribute the action correctly.
When you're ready to activate a Discovery Reward, click the Start Reward button on the reward detail page. This opens the claim interface where you can confirm you've read the conditions and initiate tracking.
Depending on the reward type, you may need to:
- Click through to the partner via our tracking link
- Complete the required action (trial signup, purchase, etc.)
- Return to PerkLedger to confirm completion
Some rewards track automatically via our integration with the partner. Others may require you to submit proof manually once the action is complete.
When a reward is approved, the value is added to your PerkLedger wallet rather than being paid out instantly as cash. Once your balance reaches the minimum threshold and any hold periods have passed, you can withdraw it as gift cards via the options shown in your wallet.

Yes. Your dashboard will include a wallet or rewards section showing:
- Your current available balance
- Pending rewards still being verified

Confirmed means the partner has validated your action and approved the reward. Once confirmed, the value is added to your wallet balance and becomes available for withdrawal according to any hold periods.
You may also see statuses like Rejected (partner declined the claim) or Under Review (additional verification needed). Each status is explained in your wallet dashboard.

In such cases, we’ll pass on the explanation we receive wherever possible. While we advocate for our members, the final decision on eligibility usually sits with the brand.

Unfortunately, if you didn't initiate the action through our tracking link, the partner cannot attribute it to PerkLedger and we cannot credit the reward.

Claims are typically rejected for reasons such as:
- You were already an existing customer of the partner (reward was new-customers-only)
- The tracking link wasn't used or tracking failed
- Minimum spend, trial duration, or other conditions weren't met
- The action was completed outside the reward's valid date range
When a claim is rejected, we pass on the reason provided by the partner. If you believe the rejection was in error, contact support with evidence (e.g., confirmation emails, receipts) and we'll advocate on your behalf.
However, the final decision on eligibility typically rests with the partner brand.
If you return a product, request a refund, or cancel a subscription shortly after claiming a Discovery Reward, the partner may reverse the reward approval. This is standard practice to prevent abuse.
If a reward is reversed:
- The amount will be deducted from your wallet balance
- If you've already withdrawn the funds, your account balance may go negative and you'll need to settle the difference before making future withdrawals
To avoid this, only claim rewards for products and subscriptions you genuinely intend to use. Discovery Rewards are designed to support real adoption, not short-term gaming.
You can cancel a Pending claim if you change your mind or realise you don't meet the conditions. Look for a Cancel Claim option in your wallet dashboard next to the relevant claim.
Once a claim has been Confirmed by the partner and credited to your wallet, it cannot be cancelled—though you're free to leave the balance in your wallet indefinitely if you prefer not to withdraw immediately.

Yes. Privacy tools like VPNs, ad blockers, and tracking protection extensions can interfere with the attribution technology that Discovery Rewards rely on.
To ensure successful tracking:

- Complete the entire action in one session without clearing cookies
