About PerkLedger
PerkLedger is a discovery platform for business tools, perks, and rewards. It’s built for founders, freelancers, consultants, and in‑house teams who are actively choosing software and services for their work. Instead of hunting across dozens of sites, you can browse curated tools, see the perks attached to each partner, and unlock member‑only rewards in one place.
PerkLedger has four main building blocks:
- Tools – A curated directory of business tools and services across multiple categories.
- Perks – Public, ready‑to‑use offers such as discounts, extended trials, or credits linked to those tools.
- Discovery Rewards – A members‑only wallet layer where eligible actions can earn you payouts you later withdraw as gift cards.
- Membership – A free account unlocks saved lists and a more personalised experience; Premium unlocks the wallet and full rewards access during the paid phase.
You explore tools, activate perks that fit your stack, and—once your wallet is active—earn Discovery Rewards when you meet the conditions on specific partner offers.
- Tools are the brands and platforms themselves (for example, software, services, or other business products).
- Perks are public deals attached to those tools. They’re usually discounts, extended trials, credits, or other benefits you can redeem via PerkLedger.
- Discovery Rewards are separate, members‑only offers that pay into your wallet when you complete certain actions with a partner (for example, starting a qualifying trial or becoming a paying customer).
Perks are about saving money up front. Discovery Rewards are about getting paid later for the tools you genuinely choose to try or adopt.
No account is required to browse tools and public perks. You can see most of the value of PerkLedger without logging in.
Creating a free account unlocks extra features such as saved lists and a more tailored experience. Discovery Rewards and the wallet, however, are tied to membership and will eventually sit behind Premium once pricing is fully live.
PerkLedger is not a generic coupon bank or cashback comparison site. The focus is on:
- Curated tools and partners that actually fit professional use‑cases
- Negotiated perks that go beyond public promo codes
- A wallet‑based rewards system (Discovery Rewards) that is clearly separated from perks and explained as such in the UI
Instead of chasing every possible offer, we concentrate on a useful stack for builders and decision‑makers.
Yes. Browsing tools and claiming public perks is free. You can register as a Free member at no cost.
In the current founding phase, we’re also allowing early members to unlock Premium‑level features—such as the Discovery Rewards wallet—without paying a subscription. Once full pricing launches, some of these features will move into a paid Premium tier, but perks will remain open.
PerkLedger itself is not a job platform or investment product, but you can earn through Discovery Rewards once your wallet is active. When you meet the conditions on a qualifying reward (for example, starting or completing a trial that a partner sponsors), the reward is credited to your wallet and can later be withdrawn as a gift card.
Perks, on the other hand, save money rather than paying it out. They reduce your spend on tools you already plan to use.
Yes. We collect only the data needed to run your account—such as your login details, saved items, and basic usage information. Sensitive payment details are handled by our payment provider rather than stored directly by PerkLedger.
We follow GDPR principles for UK and EU users, never sell your data, and only share it with partners where it’s strictly necessary to deliver a perk or reward you have chosen to activate.
You can browse tools and perks from anywhere. However, Discovery Rewards and some partner offers are currently tailored towards the UK market and may only be available if you meet the location and eligibility criteria shown on each reward.
Details such as currency, residency, or business type requirements are always listed on the individual perk or reward page.
No. PerkLedger is an information and discovery platform, not a financial adviser. We help you see what’s available; we don’t tell you what you should or shouldn’t do.
Any decisions you make about choosing tools, spending, or accounting remain your responsibility. If you’re unsure about the impact on your finances or tax position, you should speak to a qualified professional.
We monitor changes from partners and regularly update tool and perk information. The interface and copy across the site are designed to make it clear when something is live, in beta, or changing.
Because offers can change quickly, there may occasionally be a lag between a partner updating their terms and that change appearing on PerkLedger. If something looks wrong, you can flag it directly from the relevant page.
On most tool, perk, and reward pages you’ll find a way to report an issue. Use this to tell us if:
- A link is broken or leads to the wrong place
- An offer no longer matches what the partner is showing
- Important eligibility information is missing
Our team reviews these reports and updates the listing where necessary.
PerkLedger works in partnership with many of the brands on the platform, especially where we’ve negotiated special rates or rewards. We do generate revenue from some of these relationships.
However, the aim is always to be transparent: we clearly label sponsored perks and rewards, and we focus our curation on tools that make sense for our audience rather than chasing every possible commission.

Membership
Free members can browse tools and perks, use the basic directory, and start building their stack. As membership features roll out, free accounts also gain access to saved lists and email updates.
Premium membership is designed to unlock the “members‑only” layer: the Discovery Rewards wallet, premium‑only perks where applicable, and more advanced tooling around tracking what you’ve claimed and earned.
During the founding phase, early members can experience much of this Premium behaviour without paying, but long‑term the line between Free and Premium will be clearer.
The Founding Member phase is our early launch period. During this time, we’re inviting a first wave of members to help shape the product.
Founding Members typically:
- Get early access to new features such as the Discovery Rewards wallet
- See “beta” capabilities before they roll out to everyone
- Keep certain benefits (for example, rewards access) even after standard pricing goes live
We deliberately avoid locking this to a hard date or exact number so we can adjust based on feedback and product maturity.
Right now, Founding Members can activate Premium‑level behaviour—especially around Discovery Rewards—without paying a subscription. This is intentional: we want the first cohort to help us test and refine the experience.
Once full pricing is introduced, new members will see a clear Premium price, but existing Founding Members will keep the benefits that were promised to them at the time they joined.
Yes. Perks are designed to remain open. You’ll continue to be able to browse and redeem public perks whether or not you upgrade to Premium.
Premium (or the founding‑phase equivalent) primarily affects your access to Discovery Rewards, premium‑flagged perks, and advanced membership features—not the core perk catalogue.
PerkLedger uses Square to handle membership billing. The long‑term plan is to have a simple annual price for Premium membership, shown clearly on the membership pages and within the app.
While we’re in the founding phase, pricing is treated as “in beta”. That’s why you’ll see messaging like “Founding members upgrade for £0 while beta lasts” in some CTAs. As we move out of this phase, any live pricing will be kept consistent across the paywall, membership dashboard, and FAQ.
When Premium billing is active, you’ll be able to manage your plan from your membership dashboard. Upgrading will take you through a Square checkout; downgrading will schedule a change for the end of your current billing period.
If you cancel Premium, you’ll drop back to the Free tier but keep your account, saved items, and history. Some Premium‑only features (such as wallet withdrawals or certain rewards) may pause until you reactivate.
Payments for membership are processed by Square, which supports major debit and credit cards and popular digital wallets in supported regions. The exact methods available depend on your location and Square’s configuration at the time of checkout.
Yes. Square issues receipts and VAT invoices for all billed subscriptions. These can be used for bookkeeping and expense claims in most business contexts.
You’ll typically receive invoices by email and be able to access them via your membership or billing settings.
Cancelling Premium does not retroactively cancel perks you’ve already claimed from partners. Those are agreements between you and the brand.
For Discovery Rewards, any confirmed rewards that have already been paid into your wallet remain yours. However, your ability to earn new rewards or withdraw pending balances may depend on your membership status and the rules in place when you cancel. The exact behaviour will be clearly explained on the membership and wallet pages once pricing is fully live.
Referral rewards are on the roadmap. The intention is to allow members to earn rewards when they bring in new businesses or professionals who become active users.
Because this is still in development, we avoid promising specific commission rates or rules in the FAQ. When the programme launches, it will have its own dedicated page with clear terms and examples.

Discovery Rewards
Discovery Rewards are member‑only offers that pay you for exploring and adopting partner tools. When you meet the conditions of a reward—such as starting a qualifying trial or becoming a paying customer with a partner—PerkLedger credits your wallet.
It’s important to be clear: Discovery Rewards is not a generic cashback scheme. The focus is on rewarding genuine discovery and adoption of tools that fit your work, not on encouraging random churn just to chase payouts.
You’ll need a PerkLedger account and, outside the founding phase, an active Premium membership.
During the founding phase, early members can activate the wallet and start earning Discovery Rewards without paying the eventual Premium fee. Over time, Discovery Rewards will remain a membership‑gated feature, while perks stay open.
Each reward has its own conditions, which are explained on the reward detail page. Typical examples include:
- Starting a new trial with a partner tool through a PerkLedger link
- Becoming a paying customer after that trial
- Meeting any minimum spend or time‑on‑plan requirements specified by the brand
You must follow the instructions on the reward page so that the partner and PerkLedger can attribute the action correctly.
When a reward is approved, the value is added to your PerkLedger wallet rather than being paid out instantly as cash. Once your balance reaches the minimum threshold and any hold periods have passed, you can withdraw it as gift cards via the options shown in your wallet.
The available gift card options and any limits or fees will be explained inside the wallet interface.
When you're ready to activate a Discovery Reward, click the Start Reward button on the reward detail page. This opens the claim interface where you can confirm you've read the conditions and initiate tracking.
Depending on the reward type, you may need to:
- Click through to the partner via our tracking link
- Complete the required action (trial signup, purchase, etc.)
- Return to PerkLedger to confirm completion
Some rewards track automatically via our integration with the partner. Others may require you to submit proof manually once the action is complete.
Yes. Your dashboard will include a wallet or rewards section showing:
- Your current available balance
- Pending rewards still being verified
- A history of past payouts and withdrawals
Timeline information—for example, how long a particular reward is expected to take to confirm—will be communicated alongside each reward where possible.
Pending means your claim has been registered and is awaiting verification from the partner brand. This is the normal status immediately after you submit a claim.
Confirmed means the partner has validated your action and approved the reward. Once confirmed, the value is added to your wallet balance and becomes available for withdrawal according to any hold periods.
You may also see statuses like Rejected (partner declined the claim) or Under Review (additional verification needed). Each status is explained in your wallet dashboard.
Yes. Common requirements include:
- Being a registered PerkLedger member
- Living in a supported region (many rewards are UK‑focused)
- Using the correct tracking links and following the reward instructions
- Not already being an existing customer of the partner, unless the reward specifically allows it
Each reward has its own terms. Those terms take priority and are displayed clearly on the reward page.
Approval timelines vary by partner and reward type. Some rewards with automated tracking may confirm within hours. Others—particularly those requiring manual verification or linked to subscription renewals—can take several weeks.
Where possible, we display estimated approval times on the reward detail page. You can also check your wallet dashboard for status updates on individual claims.
If a claim remains pending beyond the expected timeframe, contact support and we'll investigate with the partner.
Yes. Discovery Rewards depend on confirmation from the partner brand that you met the conditions. A claim may be declined if, for example:
- The brand cannot match your action to the PerkLedger link
- You were already a customer and the reward was for new customers only
- Minimum spend, duration, or other criteria were not met
In such cases, we’ll pass on the explanation we receive wherever possible. While we advocate for our members, the final decision on eligibility usually sits with the brand.
Yes. Your wallet will show the current minimum withdrawal threshold. This amount helps us manage processing costs and ensures you can redeem meaningful gift card values.
Once your available balance (confirmed rewards past any hold periods) meets or exceeds the minimum, you'll see withdrawal options in your wallet interface.
The minimum threshold and available gift card denominations are displayed clearly inside the wallet.
No. Rewards are tied to your PerkLedger account and wallet. You can convert them into gift cards once withdrawal is available, but you can’t transfer balances between PerkLedger accounts.
Available gift card options are shown in your wallet when you initiate a withdrawal. We partner with a gift card provider to offer a range of popular retailers and brands.
The selection may vary by region and is subject to change based on availability. Common options typically include major supermarkets, online retailers, and lifestyle brands relevant to our member base.
Each gift card option displays its denomination, any fees (if applicable), and delivery method before you confirm the withdrawal.
Generally, no. Most Discovery Rewards are designed as one-time offers for new customers trying a partner tool for the first time. This aligns with the goal of genuine discovery rather than repeat gaming of offers.
Some partners may offer separate rewards for different actions (e.g., trial signup vs. annual upgrade), but each specific reward can typically only be claimed once per PerkLedger account.
Attempting to claim the same reward multiple times—such as by creating multiple accounts—violates our terms and may result in account suspension.
Traditional cashback sites encourage you to route as many purchases as possible through affiliate links to earn a small percentage back. Discovery Rewards is framed differently:
- It focuses on curated partner tools, not every possible merchant
- Payouts are generally higher‑signal, tied to meaningful actions like completing a trial or adopting a tool long‑term
- The goal is to help you build a better stack, with rewards as a bonus, not to optimise every transaction in your life
That’s why we use language like “wallet” and “rewards” instead of generic cashback terminology.
Any rewards that have already been confirmed and paid into your wallet remain associated with your account. However, your ability to earn new rewards or withdraw balances may be linked to your membership status.
The exact rules—for example, whether withdrawals pause when you downgrade—will be published clearly in the wallet and membership pages as pricing and policies are finalised.

If you completed a reward action but don't see a pending claim in your wallet, first check:
- Did you click through the partner via the PerkLedger tracking link?
- Were cookies or tracking scripts blocked (e.g., by ad blockers, privacy extensions, or VPN settings)?
- Did you complete the action in the same browser session without clearing cookies?
If tracking failed despite following the instructions, contact support with details of the reward, the date/time you completed the action, and any order or confirmation numbers from the partner. We'll work with the partner to manually verify and credit your claim where possible.
Unfortunately, if you didn't initiate the action through our tracking link, the partner cannot attribute it to PerkLedger and we cannot credit the reward.
Discovery Rewards rely on tracking technology to confirm that actions originated from our platform. Without this attribution, there's no way for the partner to validate the claim.
Best practice: Always start from the reward detail page on PerkLedger and click the official tracking link before signing up or making a purchase with a partner.
Claims are typically rejected for reasons such as:
- You were already an existing customer of the partner (reward was new-customers-only)
- The tracking link wasn't used or tracking failed
- Minimum spend, trial duration, or other conditions weren't met
- The action was completed outside the reward's valid date range
When a claim is rejected, we pass on the reason provided by the partner. If you believe the rejection was in error, contact support with evidence (e.g., confirmation emails, receipts) and we'll advocate on your behalf.
However, the final decision on eligibility typically rests with the partner brand.
If you return a product, request a refund, or cancel a subscription shortly after claiming a Discovery Reward, the partner may reverse the reward approval. This is standard practice to prevent abuse.
If a reward is reversed:
- The amount will be deducted from your wallet balance
- If you've already withdrawn the funds, your account balance may go negative and you'll need to settle the difference before making future withdrawals
To avoid this, only claim rewards for products and subscriptions you genuinely intend to use. Discovery Rewards are designed to support real adoption, not short-term gaming.
You can cancel a Pending claim if you change your mind or realise you don't meet the conditions. Look for a Cancel Claim option in your wallet dashboard next to the relevant claim.
Once a claim has been Confirmed by the partner and credited to your wallet, it cannot be cancelled—though you're free to leave the balance in your wallet indefinitely if you prefer not to withdraw immediately.
If you encounter issues or need assistance with a claim, contact support.
Yes. Privacy tools like VPNs, ad blockers, and tracking protection extensions can interfere with the attribution technology that Discovery Rewards rely on.
To ensure successful tracking:
- Disable ad blockers and privacy extensions when activating a reward
- Avoid using a VPN during the signup or purchase process
- Use a standard browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) without aggressive privacy settings
- Complete the entire action in one session without clearing cookies
If you must use privacy tools for other reasons, be aware that tracking may fail and manual claims may not be possible without proof of attribution.
