This page explains how you can manage your data, unsubscribe from our newsletter, or permanently delete your account across our Services (Website, Mobile App, and Browser Extension).
For Registered Members (Members Hub)
If you have a registered PerkLedger account, the easiest way to manage your personal data, update your email address, or change your communication preferences is via your personal workspace.
For Newsletter Subscribers (Non-Members)
If you do not have a PerkLedger account but have subscribed to our email newsletter, you can stop receiving communications easily:
- Simply click the “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom of any email you have received from us.
This action will remove you from our mailing list immediately.
Account Deletion
If you have created a PerkLedger account (via Website or Mobile App), you can request permanent deletion. Please read the following information carefully.
30-Day Grace Period (Safety Window)
To protect your data from accidental loss, we use a 30-day grace period system:
- Day 0 (Request): Your account is deactivated instantly. You are logged out, and your profile is hidden.
- Days 1-30 (Suspension): Your data is kept in a suspended state. If you change your mind, you can restore your account and rewards by contacting support.
- Day 30 (Erasure): If no restoration request is received, your account and data are permanently deleted. This cannot be undone.
⚠️ Warning: Permanent deletion will remove all associated data—including your saved tools, Premium membership benefits, Discovery Rewards history, and Wallet Balance.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Via Website (Member Dashboard)
- Log in to your account at perkledger.com
- Navigate to your Member Profile page via the dashboard.
- Scroll to the “Delete Account” section.
- Click “Delete My Account” and confirm your decision.
Option 2: Via Mobile App
- Open the PerkLedger app and go to the “Settings” tab.
- Tap on “Privacy & Security”.
- Select “Delete Account” and follow the on-screen prompts.
Option 3: Request via Email
If you cannot access your account, you may request deletion via email. We will need to verify your identity.
For Premium Members (Subscription Cancellation)
Important: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel recurring payments managed by third-party stores (Apple/Google). Please follow these steps:
- Web Subscriptions: Log in to your Dashboard, go to “Membership,” and select “Cancel Subscription.” This will stop future billing via our payment provider (Stripe/SureCart).
- Mobile Subscriptions: If you subscribed via the iOS App Store or Google Play Store, you must cancel the subscription inside your phone’s Apple ID or Google Play settings manually.
Data Retention & Compliance
After the 30-day grace period, your personal data is erased. However, we are legally required to retain certain anonymized records:
- Transaction Records: Anonymized purchase and payout data retained for 7 years to comply with UK HMRC tax laws.
- Fraud Logs: Anonymized device/IP data retained to prevent future abuse of the rewards system.
These records cannot be used to identify or contact you.
