This page explains how you can manage your data, unsubscribe from our
newsletter, or permanently delete your account across our Services (Website,
Mobile App, and Browser Extension).
For Newsletter Subscribers (Website & Browser Extension)
Our Website and Browser Extension do not require an account. If you have
subscribed to our email newsletter and wish to stop receiving communications,
you can do so easily:

Simply click the “Unsubscribe” link located at the bottom
of any email you have received from us.
This action will remove you from our mailing list. Please note that this does
not delete any account you may have created separately within our Mobile App.
Account Deletion
If you have created a PerkLedger account (via Website, Mobile App, or Browser Extension), you can request permanent deletion. Please read the following information carefully.
30-Day Grace Period
When you request account deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time:
- Your account is immediately deactivated and you will be logged out
- Your personal information is anonymized for privacy protection
- Your Premium subscription is cancelled (if applicable)
- You can cancel the deletion request at any time within 30 days
- After 30 days, deletion becomes permanent and cannot be reversed
Warning: Permanently deleting your account will remove all associated data—including your saved tools, bookmarked perks, Premium membership benefits, Discovery Rewards history, and wallet balance. This action cannot be undone after the 30-day grace period.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: Via Website (Member Profile)
- Log in to your account at perkledger.com
- Navigate to your Member Profile page
- Scroll to the “Delete Account” section
- Click “Delete My Account”
- Review the warnings and confirm your decision
- You will receive a confirmation email with cancellation instructions
Option 2: Via Mobile App
- Open the PerkLedger app and navigate to the “More” tab
- Tap on “Privacy Settings”
- Select the “Delete Account” option
- Follow the on-screen prompts to confirm
Option 3: Request Deletion via Email
If you no longer have access to your account, you can request account deletion by
sending an email to our support team. This method allows us to verify your
identity before proceeding.
Cancelling a Deletion Request
If you change your mind within the 30-day grace period, you can cancel your deletion request:
- Check the confirmation email we sent when you requested deletion
- Click the “Cancel Deletion” link in the email, or
- Contact us at [email protected]
Note: While your account will be reactivated, some anonymized data cannot be restored. You will need to update your profile information manually.
Important Note for Social Login Users (Apple/Google)
Deleting your PerkLedger account from our systems
does not automatically disconnect our app from your Google or
Apple account settings. After deleting your account, we recommend that you
also remove the PerkLedger app’s permissions directly from your Google or
Apple account’s security settings. This is your responsibility and provides an
extra layer of security.
For Premium Members (Subscription Cancellation)
If you are a Premium member and wish to cancel your subscription:

Log in to your PerkLedger account on our website at
perkledger.com - Navigate to your Member Profile page
- Click on “Manage Subscription”

Follow the prompts to cancel your subscription through our payment processor
(Paddle)
Note: Cancelling your Premium subscription does not delete
your account. You will retain access to Free member features and your
Discovery Rewards history. If you wish to delete your account entirely, follow
the account deletion steps above.
Data Retention After Deletion
Immediate Deletion (During 30-Day Grace Period)
When you request account deletion, the following happens immediately:
- Your account is deactivated and you are logged out from all devices
- Your personal information is anonymized (email, name, profile data)
- Your Premium subscription is cancelled
- You cannot log in or access member features
- Your data is marked for permanent deletion in 30 days
Permanent Deletion (After 30 Days)
After the 30-day grace period expires:
- Your account and all personal data are permanently removed
- Your saved tools and bookmarked perks are deleted
- Your Discovery Rewards history is removed from active systems
- Your wallet balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered
Data We Retain (Legal Compliance)
For legal and regulatory compliance, we retain certain anonymized data:
- Transaction records (anonymized) – UK tax law requires retention for 7 years
- Fraud prevention logs – Required for security and anti-abuse measures
- Aggregated analytics – Anonymized usage data that cannot identify you
These records are fully anonymized and cannot be linked back to you.
Important: If you have pending Discovery Rewards claims or an
outstanding wallet balance, we strongly recommend withdrawing your funds
before deleting your account. Deleted accounts forfeit all pending rewards and
balances.
