Welcome to the PerkLedger Discovery Rewards programme (“Programme”). We’re excited to help you discover valuable business tools while earning rewards along the way. This Programme allows you to earn monetary rewards, credited to your PerkLedger wallet, when you complete qualifying actions (such as starting a trial, making a purchase, or subscribing to a service) with our selected partner tools (“Partners”) through our unique tracking system.

By participating in this Programme, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) as well as our main Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and any specific terms mentioned on individual reward pages. Please read them carefully.

1. ELIGIBILITY

To participate in the Discovery Rewards Programme, you must:

  • Be aged 18 or over.
  • Be a registered PerkLedger member with a verified account.
  • For Payouts: Reside in the United Kingdom (UK) and have a UK bank account (for B2B invoices) or valid UK address (for gift cards). International users may accumulate rewards but cannot withdraw funds at this time.
  • Not be an existing customer of the Partner tool unless the specific reward explicitly permits existing customers.
  • Agree to these Terms and any campaign-specific conditions displayed on the reward detail page.

2. HOW THE PROGRAMME WORKS

Our Discovery Rewards system is transparent and straightforward. Here’s the complete process:

Step 1: Browse and Select a Reward

Visit our Discovery Rewards page to explore available rewards. Each reward page displays:

  • The reward amount (how much you can earn)
  • Reward tiers (if multiple earning levels are available)
  • Qualifying action required (e.g., “Start Trial”, “Subscribe”, “Purchase”)
  • Specific terms and conditions for that reward
  • Expected verification timeline

Step 2: Register for the Reward

On the reward detail page, you must register to receive your unique tracking link. When you click “Generate My Tracking Link”:

  • We create a unique tracking ID for you (format: PLDR followed by 12 characters)
  • We generate a partner-specific tracked link with the correct tracking parameters
  • Your tracking information is displayed on-screen and stored in your account
  • You can access your active registrations anytime from your Rewards Hub

Step 3: Complete the Qualifying Action

You must use your unique tracking link to complete the qualifying action. This is crucial for proper attribution. The qualifying action varies by reward and may include:

  • Starting a free trial with the partner tool
  • Subscribing to a paid plan after a trial period
  • Making a qualifying purchase meeting minimum spend requirements
  • Maintaining an active subscription for a specified period

Step 4: Submit Your Proof

After completing the qualifying action, you must return to PerkLedger and submit proof through your Rewards Hub:

  • Navigate to the “Awaiting Proof” section
  • Select the reward you completed
  • Choose which reward tier applies (if multiple tiers exist)
  • Provide your order number, subscription ID, or transaction reference
  • Upload proof documents if required (e.g., receipt, confirmation email)

Step 5: Verification and Payment

Our team will verify your claim with the partner. This process typically includes:

  • Confirming your action was completed through our tracking link and meets all requirements
  • Verifying the transaction has passed the partner’s cancellation period
  • Checking that all eligibility criteria are satisfied
  • Calculating the final reward amount based on confirmed details

Once approved, the reward amount (plus a 25% bonus if you are a Premium member) is credited to your PerkLedger wallet. You can track your claim status in real-time through your Rewards Hub.

3. CRUCIAL TRACKING REQUIREMENTS

For your action to be tracked correctly and eligible for a reward, you MUST follow these rules carefully:

Use Your Unique Tracking Link

  • Always use the tracking link generated specifically for you after registering for the reward.
  • Do not navigate to the Partner’s website directly or through search engines.
  • Do not modify or share your tracking link with others (each link is unique to you).

Complete in the Same Session

  • Complete your qualifying action in the same browser tab that opens when you click your tracking link.
  • Do not switch browsers, devices, or use incognito/private mode.
  • Do not close the tab and return later—tracking depends on continuous session data.
  • If you need to compare options or read more, open additional tabs but complete your action in the original tracked tab.

Disable Tracking Blockers

Before clicking your tracking link, you must temporarily disable:

  • Ad blockers (e.g., uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus)
  • Anti-tracking browser extensions (e.g., Privacy Badger, Ghostery)
  • VPN services
  • Browser privacy features (e.g., Safari’s Private Relay, Firefox’s Enhanced Tracking Protection)

These tools prevent our affiliate tracking system from working correctly. You can re-enable them after completing your action.

Accept All Cookies

  • When you visit the Partner’s website, accept all cookies when prompted.
  • Declining cookies will prevent proper tracking and make you ineligible for the reward.
  • Cookies are essential for our affiliate partners to confirm your action came through PerkLedger.

Important Notice: PerkLedger is not responsible for untracked actions resulting from failure to follow these tracking requirements. We can only reward successfully tracked and verified transactions reported by our affiliate partners.

4. CLAIM SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Timing and Verification Period

  • You must wait until the Partner’s specified cancellation, refund, or return period has concluded before your reward can be approved.
  • Typical verification periods range from 30 to 90 days but vary by partner and action type.
  • The specific timeline for each reward is displayed on its detail page.
  • If you cancel your subscription or return a product during this period, your claim will be rejected.

Accurate Information

  • You must provide your correct tracking ID (this is pre-filled when submitting from your Rewards Hub).
  • Provide accurate confirmation details: order number, transaction ID, subscription reference, etc.
  • Select the correct reward tier that matches your actual qualifying action.
  • Upload clear, readable proof documents if required (screenshots of confirmation emails, receipts, etc.).

One Claim Per Registration

  • Each tracking ID can only be used to submit one claim.
  • If you want to earn from the same reward again (where permitted), you must register for a new tracking link.
  • Attempting to submit duplicate claims with the same tracking ID will result in automatic rejection.

Corporate Entity Limit (B2B): For rewards related to business software (B2B SaaS), we enforce a limit of one (1) reward claim per company entity or domain name. Multiple employees from the same organization cannot claim rewards for the same software subscription unless explicitly permitted by the offer terms.

Prohibited Activities

We reserve the right to reject claims and suspend accounts for:

  • Fraudulent claims: Submitting false information or fabricated proof documents.
  • Cancelled orders: Claiming rewards for actions you cancelled or refunded.
  • Churning: Repeatedly signing up and cancelling services solely to claim rewards.
  • Using others’ tracking links: Attempting to claim rewards for actions completed using someone else’s link.
  • Multiple accounts: Creating multiple PerkLedger accounts to claim the same reward multiple times.
  • Tracking manipulation: Using technical methods to circumvent proper tracking attribution.
  • Unauthorised Self-Dealing: While you may claim rewards for tools used by your business, you must ensure you have the authority to do so. You may not claim rewards for purchasing your own company’s software products (self-referral) if prohibited by the Partner’s specific terms.

We may share information about fraudulent activity with Partners and affiliate networks.

5. REWARD VERIFICATION AND PAYMENT

Verification Process

After you submit your claim, our team will:

  1. Verify your claim details match the information reported by our affiliate partners
  2. Confirm the qualifying action meets all campaign-specific requirements
  3. Check that any minimum spend or subscription requirements are satisfied
  4. Ensure the partner’s cancellation period has passed without issues
  5. Calculate your final reward amount based on confirmed tier details

Claim Statuses

Your claim will progress through these statuses (visible in your Rewards Hub):

  • Pending Verification: We’re reviewing your submission with our partner
  • Approved: Your claim has been verified and is awaiting payment processing
  • Rejected: Your claim did not meet requirements (reason provided)
  • Rewarded: Payment has been credited to your PerkLedger wallet

Payment to Your Wallet

  • Approved rewards are credited to your PerkLedger wallet, not paid out directly as cash.
  • Your wallet balance accumulates from multiple approved claims across different rewards.
  • Once your balance reaches the minimum withdrawal threshold (Free Member: £100.00 GBP – Premium Member: £50.00 GBP), you can request a cashout.
  • Cashout options (gift cards, bank transfer, etc.) and any associated fees are displayed in your wallet interface.
  • Currency Exchange & Fluctuations: If a Partner transaction originates in a non-GBP currency (e.g., USD), the final Reward amount credited to your Wallet may differ slightly from the estimated amount shown at the time of click due to currency exchange rate fluctuations during the verification period. We apply the exchange rate provided by our Affiliate Network at the moment the commission is cleared to us.
  • Processor Verification Requirements: You acknowledge that our third-party payout partners (e.g., Stripe, Wise, Gift Card vendors) may have their own independent identity verification requirements. If a payout is flagged by our payment processor, you may be required to provide additional information directly to them to release the funds. PerkLedger is not responsible for delays caused by third-party compliance checks.

6. PAYOUT RULES & CLAWBACK POLICY

This section defines your rights and obligations regarding the funds in your Wallet.

Minimum Payout Threshold

Payouts can only be requested when your confirmed Wallet balance reaches a minimum of £50.00 GBP. Balances below this amount will carry over to the next month.

Right to Clawback (Reversal)

If a Partner Brand reverses a commission paid to us (e.g., due to a refund, chargeback, or cancellation of your subscription with them), we reserve the right to:

  • Deduct the corresponding reward amount from your Wallet balance.
  • If your balance is insufficient, place your Wallet in a negative balance to be offset by future earnings.
  • Request a refund of paid-out funds if the payment was made in error or based on a transaction that was later reversed.

Partner Insolvency & Non-Payment: PerkLedger operates on a “shared success” model. In the unlikely event that a Partner Brand becomes insolvent, enters administration, or fails to remit the affiliate commission to PerkLedger for any reason, we are not liable to fund the Discovery Reward from our own capital. Your reward is contingent upon our actual receipt of funds from the Partner.

Dormancy & Expiry

“Pending” or “Confirmed” rewards in your Wallet will expire if your account remains inactive (no login or new transactions) for a period of 12 consecutive months. We will attempt to notify you via email prior to any expiry of funds.

Tax Liability

You are solely responsible for calculating and paying any applicable taxes, duties, or levies on the rewards you earn. PerkLedger does not withhold taxes for Gift Card payouts. For B2B invoice payouts, VAT will be handled in accordance with UK tax laws.

Excluded Transactions (Non-Qualifying)

Unless explicitly stated otherwise on a specific reward page, the following transaction types are not eligible for Discovery Rewards:

  • Purchases of gift cards, gift certificates, or cash equivalents.
  • Payments made using store credit or gift cards as the primary payment method.
  • Any taxes (VAT), delivery charges, service fees, or card processing fees included in the transaction total.
  • Purchases that are cancelled, returned, or exchanged.
  • Transactions completed over the phone or via the partner’s mobile app (unless app tracking is explicitly supported).
  • Renewals of existing subscriptions (unless the reward is specifically for a renewal).

Anti-Money Laundering (AML) & KYC: To comply with financial regulations, PerkLedger reserves the right to request Know Your Business (KYB) documentation (e.g., Certificate of Incorporation, Director ID) before processing any B2B Invoice payout, particularly for high-value transactions. Failure to provide requested verification documents within 14 days may result in the forfeiture of rewards.

Manual Security Reviews: While we do not enforce mandatory identity verification (KYC) for all members, PerkLedger reserves the right to conduct manual security reviews for high-value payouts or unusual account activity. In such cases, we may temporarily hold your payment and request basic proof of identity or business ownership via email to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with UK regulations.

Right to Set-Off: You agree that PerkLedger is authorised to offset any amounts you owe to us (e.g., unpaid Premium subscription fees, chargeback costs, or previous reward overpayments) against any funds currently held in your Wallet. We may deduct these debts from your balance without prior notice before processing any withdrawal request.

7. DISPUTES AND MISSING TRACKING

If Your Action Wasn’t Tracked

If it has been more than 30 days since you completed your qualifying action and your claim shows no tracking data despite following all rules, you may:

  • Contact our support team through your Rewards Hub
  • Provide detailed information about your action (date, time, order details)
  • Include any confirmation emails or proof of completion

We will manually investigate your case with our affiliate partners. Please note:

  • This investigation process can take several weeks
  • We cannot guarantee a successful outcome if tracking data cannot be verified
  • We can only credit rewards for actions that can be confirmed through our partner networks
  • Missing tracking is most often caused by not following the tracking requirements in Section 3

Claim Rejections

If your claim is rejected, you’ll receive an email explaining the specific reason. Common rejection reasons include:

  • Action not tracked through your unique tracking link
  • Order cancelled or refunded before verification period ended
  • Minimum spend requirement not met
  • Ineligibility (e.g., already existing customer)
  • Insufficient or invalid proof documentation
  • Duplicate claim attempt

If you believe your claim was rejected in error, you may submit additional evidence through your Rewards Hub within 14 days of the rejection notification.

Discretionary “Good Faith” Credit

While we rely on our partners for verification, we understand that technical tracking errors happen. If a Partner denies a claim due to missing tracking data, but you provide undeniable proof of purchase (e.g., a VAT invoice clearly showing the date and time matching your click), PerkLedger reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to issue a “Good Faith Credit” to your Wallet. This is not a guarantee of payment but a gesture of goodwill to support our loyal members. Good Faith Credits are limited to £50 per user per year.

8. REWARD-SPECIFIC TERMS

Each Discovery Reward has its own specific terms and conditions that take priority over these general terms. These are clearly displayed on each reward’s detail page and may include:

  • Eligibility restrictions: New customers only, UK residents only, specific business types, etc.
  • Minimum requirements: Minimum spend amounts, subscription duration, trial completion, etc.
  • Multiple tiers: Different reward amounts based on the value of your action (e.g., higher rewards for annual subscriptions)
  • Time limits: Action must be completed within a specific timeframe after registration
  • Partner requirements: Specific steps you must complete with the partner tool
  • Verification period: How long before your reward can be approved

It is your responsibility to read and understand the specific terms for each reward before registering.

Dynamic Offers: Reward amounts and terms are subject to change by Partner Brands at any moment without notice. The applicable reward is strictly determined by the active offer terms at the precise moment you click the tracking link. We are not liable for differences between the reward amount seen previously and the amount active at the time of your click.

9. PROGRAMME CHANGES AND LIMITATIONS

Programme Modifications

PerkLedger reserves the right to:

  • Modify, suspend, or terminate the Discovery Rewards Programme, or any part of it, at any time
  • Add, remove, or change available rewards without prior notice (existing registrations remain valid)
  • Adjust reward amounts or terms for future registrations (changes do not affect active registrations)
  • Update these Terms & Conditions with notice posted on this page
  • Limit the number of rewards you can register for or claim within a specific period

Liability Limitations

  • PerkLedger acts as a facilitator between you and our Partner tools. We are not a party to your transaction with the Partner.
  • We are not responsible for issues with Partner products, services, pricing, availability, or customer support.
  • We are not liable for tracking failures caused by Partner system changes, affiliate network technical issues, or your failure to follow tracking requirements.
  • Our maximum liability for any reward-related dispute is limited to the value of the specific reward in question.
  • All other liability limitations in our main Terms and Conditions apply.

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Discovery Rewards if:

  • You violate these Terms or engage in prohibited activities
  • We detect fraudulent behavior or abuse of the Programme
  • You repeatedly submit invalid or ineligible claims
  • Your account shows patterns consistent with churning or gaming the system
  • We receive reports from Partners about problematic behavior related to your actions

Suspended accounts forfeit any pending or approved wallet balance at PerkLedger’s sole discretion.

10. DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY

By participating in Discovery Rewards, you consent to PerkLedger collecting and processing:

  • Your registration and tracking data
  • Information about your qualifying actions (order details, subscription info)
  • Communication between you, PerkLedger, and our Partners regarding claims
  • Proof documentation you submit (order confirmations, receipts, etc.)

This data is used for:

  • Administering the Discovery Rewards Programme
  • Verifying claims with our affiliate partners
  • Processing reward payments to your wallet
  • Preventing fraud and abuse
  • Improving Programme functionality and user experience
  • Communicating with you about your rewards (status updates, verification requests, payment confirmations)

All personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR regulations. We share minimal necessary information with our affiliate partners and network providers solely for the purpose of tracking and verifying your qualifying actions.

Publicity Release: By participating in the Programme, you grant PerkLedger a limited right to use your first name, initial, and general business category (e.g., “Sarah L., Marketing Agency Owner”) in our marketing materials, leaderboards, or social proof notifications (e.g., “Someone from London just earned £150”) to demonstrate the Programme’s authenticity and success. We will never reveal your full identity or contact details without explicit additional consent.

11. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

All content related to the Discovery Rewards Programme, including reward descriptions, tracking systems, and Programme materials, are the intellectual property of PerkLedger or our Partners. You may not:

  • Reproduce, copy, or redistribute Programme content without permission
  • Reverse-engineer our tracking systems or attribution technology
  • Use PerkLedger or Partner trademarks without authorization
  • Create derivative works based on our Programme structure or reward offerings

12. GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your participation in Discovery Rewards shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
